How To Remove Skype ID from skype screen

How do I delete My Skype

It is currently not possible to permanently delete your Skype Name. However, deleting your profile information (which includes your real name and other details, plus any pictures of yourself you have uploaded) ensures that anyone else using Skype will no longer be able to find or identify you.
You cannot remove your Skype Name from other people’s contact lists, but if you never sign in to Skype with that Skype Name, you will always appear offline.

To delete your profile details:

For Windows, go to Skype > Profile > Edit Your Profile...
For Linux, click on your Skype Name above your contact list and select Edit profile.
Then remove all the information in your profile.

To delete a Skype Name from the sign-in screen:

If you are using Windows XP:
  1. Quit Skype. In the system tray at the bottom right of your screen, right-click the Skype icon and select Quit.
  2. Click Start > Run.
  3. Type %appdata%\skype into the Run window and click OK. All the files held in the Skype folder in your Program files appear.
  4. Delete the folder named after the Skype Name you wish to remove from the sign-in screen.
If you are using Vista or Windows 7:
  1. Quit Skype. In the system tray at the bottom-right of the screen, right-click the Skype icon and select Quit.
  2. Click Start. In the blank field that appears, type run. Press the Enter key.
  3. In the Run window that appears, type %appdata%\skype and click OK.
  4. All the files held in the Skype folder in your Program files appear.
  5. Delete the folder named after the Skype Name you wish to remove from the sign-in screen.
If you cannot see the folders mentioned above, it may be because they are hidden folders. To make them visible, press CTRL + H.
If you are using Linux:
  1. Quit Skype.
  2. Go to /home/YOURLINUXUSERNAME/.Skype and delete the folder with the Skype Name you no longer wish to use.
Now start Skype. The Skype Name you have deleted is no longer available on the sign-in screen.

How To Change IP Address To Increase Speed

"How do I change my IP address?" and "Can I change my IP address?" are probably the most commonly asked questions. Please attempt the following then, if that does not work, visit theChange IP Address forum.
Before trying any other methods to change your IP address, try turning off (or unplugging the power of) your Cable/DSL modemfor five minutes. In many cases this will change your IP address. However, if that does not change your IP address, repeat the process for 8 hours (overnight works well) instead of 5 minutes. Hopefully this will result in an IP change.
If the above does not result in your IP address changing, please look through the below for the situation that best matches yours and attempt to change your IP address that way. Unfortunately you are not able to get your IP address to change in all cases, as it is ultimately determined by your ISP'sDHCP configuration (when you've got a dynamically assigned IP address, that is.)

Windows

- Computer connected directly to the modem
  1. Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).
  2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).
  3. Type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).

Windows (second option)

- Computer connected directly to the modem
  1. Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).
  2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes).
  3. Shut down computer.
  4. Turn off computer.
  5. Turn off all ethernet hubs/switches.
  6. Turn off cable/DSL modem.
  7. Leave off overnight.
  8. Turn everything back on.

Network with Router

  1. Log into the router's admin console. (Often http://192.168.1.1/)
  2. Release the IP address. (Method varies by router manufacturer)
  3. Turn off router, ethernet hubs/switches, and the cable/DSL modem.
  4. Leave off overnight.
  5. Turn everything back on.
If you are using a cable/DSL modem and a router, you may wish to connect your computer directly to the cable/DSL modem. Please note that this could significantly impact your system security. This allows your ISP's DHCP to issue you a new (hopefully changed) IP address based of the (hardware) MAC address of your computer's ethernet card.
If all the above has not worked to change your IP address and you have a router, check and see if there is a "Clone MAC Address" option. Using it should change your IP address; however, you'll only be able to do it once (in most cases).
These will not work in all cases. If all else fails contact your internet service provider (ISP) and ask them if they are able to change your IP address or how long your connection needs to be off for your IP address to change.
If you trying to change your IP address because you are just trying to access web based forums you may wish to attempt to configure your internet browser to use a proxy server.
If this does not answer your question, please visit the change IP address forum.

The New IPhone 2011 with Dual Core processors and graphics chips with more powerful and higher resolution

The new iPhone 2011 will have five dual core processors and graphics chips more powerful and capable of providing higher resolution and better video quality “still” pictures to take pictures, and multitasking is a breeze.
There are only a few are working to build a 4G network. T-Mobile is likely to be carriers, since they are GSM. Sprint’s 4G network is already … AT & T and Verizon Wireless are in the early stages. Verizon Wireless is talking to the iPhone sometime in 2010, but it will in 2011, when five new iPhone 2011 comes out.
4G is coming to them! … They can build up over time? Certainly have a 3G version of iPhone, but the new iPhone, 5 (4G speed) will come out, compete?! Regardless, it’s a lot of anticipation, how many people leave the AT & T, Verizon Wireless, AT & T restrictions app slower, as the Slingplayer, Google and Skype Voice (a 4G network, not Wi-Fi).
AT & T restrictions have caused the percentage of people who are your iPhone Prison Break on the rise since the prison break that usually comes with Cydia is the App Store for jail broken phones. Most applications of themes, ringtones, and even the iPhone! They are free to Cydia. Winter Board is part of the download, and is very easy to add the status of your phone so you do not understand how you do it yourself … It is highly automated.
Palm and Sprint Pre EVO HTC (Sprint now offering a 4G network) is made by a company is competitive in the iPhone and Blackberry … and feel that they have a head, even if the iPhone was released four and five on the way the iPhone, they are sure to lose. Oh ya, torch Blackberry? = A good deal … but the browser that is not a full HTML
The new iPhone 2011 looks promising; it is elegant, full of new equipment and, ultimately, restrictions.

INCREASED SCREEN SIZE AND BETTER SCREEN DURABILITY (A full 4 inches)
FEWER DROPPED CALLS (apparently they fixed all antenna issues)
BETTER CALL QUALITY (better noise canceling technology)

Apple despite selling millions of iPhone 4 has disappointed the fans with faulty antenna, and many are still waiting for a permanent solution before upgrading from the iPhone 3GS. Now here is the news which indicates that iPhone 5 is already on the test bed and will hit the market in the early 2011.
The article published on the iLounge claims to have the report of new iPhone 5 from a highly reliable source. Here is the excerpt from the article published:
According to our source—and we have to say that we find this part hard to believe—Apple is pushing up the release date of the fifth-generation iPhone to early 2011 (as soon as January) because of the antenna issues with the iPhone 4. It’s unknown whether this will be a repackaging of iPhone 4 components in a different shell or something more substantial. We reiterate: it’s hard to believe. But as with so many seemingly far-fetched early reports, it’s not impossible.
I am ready to wait for iPhone 5 for another six or seven months instead of investing $600 on a faulty device with a bumper.

Yahoo Messenger Trick

Tips & Tricks For Yahoo Messenger

Here are some things you can do with your Yahoo messenger. I will put them in three sections - Easy, Moderate and Hard to show what level of computer knowledge is recommended.

Easy
Send a group message
This one is really simple. Just
right click on the group title in your contact list and select Send Message to all in this group . Alternatively hold down the Ctrl and left click on the names you wish to send a message to. Once you have hilighted the required names simply right click on a name and select Send a message .

Change webcam status message
Really simple and hardly a secret. Click Login at the top left and then click on Preferences. Once the preferences window has opened click on Webcam in the list on the left. Now on the right at the bottom you should see a box and next to it it says When my Webcam is on, change my status message to . Tick the box and then type the message you want people to see when you have your webcam on.

Moderate
Change the title bar text
You can change the text that appears in the bar at the very top of the messenger window by simply editting the ymsgr.ini which you will find in the same folder as your messenger. Locate the ymsgr.ini file and open it in notepad or any text editor. Then at the end add the following

[APP TITLE]

caption=YOUR TEXT

changing YOUR TEXT to whatever you want it to say. Then save the file and close messenger. When you restart messenger you will see your new message.

Advanced
Edit/delete your custom away messages
Please only attempt this if you are confident at registry editting. Click Start and click on Run . In the run window type regedit and press Enter. Once regedit has opened click the following items in the list on the left. You can either double click the folder image or single click on the + sign. First open HKEY_CURRENT_USER then Software then Yahoo then Pager then profiles . Next open the folder for the accounts who's away messages you want to edit or delete. Now open the Custom Msgs folder. In here you will see all the status messages you have set next to a number. The Number_DND bit sets whether it shows you as busy or not with that status. 1 will show you as busy while 0 will not and 2 will set you as idle. The away msg entry is the last away message you used.

What Is IP address ?

The internal, LAN-IP address is normally set to a default, private number. Linksys routers, for example, use 192.168.1.1 for their internal IP address. D-Link and Netgear routers typically use 192.168.0.1. Some US Robotics routers use 192.168.123.254, and some SMC routers use 192.168.2.1. No matter the brand of router, its default internal IP address is listed in the manufacturer's documentation. Administrators have the option to change this IP address during router setup or at any time later. Unless someone manually changes it, however, this private LAN-IP address remains fixed. This address can be viewed and changed from the router's administrative console.

Locate Internet IP Address

Knowing the Internet Protocol (IP) address one has to the outside world can often be useful for various purposes.
If you need to setup a direct IP connection over the internet, you need to know your IP Address as seen by others on the internet.

Find IP Address if Computer or Router

  • If you use router between your computer and the internet, your public IP address is the same as the public ip address of your router. Whether your router is cable, wireless, linksys, netgear or whatever does not matter.
  • You can connect multiple systems to your router, e.g. laptops, xbox 360, play station, media center and other computers.
  • Your router can make all connected systems share the same IP address. The router handles this by tracking outgoing and incoming TCP and UDP packets. It can do so by assigning port numbers to all outgoing traffic and compare these to incoming traffic port numbers.
  • If your ISP has given you a static IP address it should be the same each time you connect to the internet. If you have a dynamic IP address it should change when you disconnect and connect to the internet.
  • The special IP address 127.0.0.1, also called localhost, refers to your own computer.

What Is the IP Address of a Router?

The external, WAN-IP address of the router is set when the router connects to the Internet service provider. This address can also be viewed on the router's administrative console. Alternatively, the WAN-IP address can be found by visiting a Web-based IP address lookup service like http://checkip.dyndns.org/ from any computer on the home LAN.
Another way to identify the public IP addresses of routers, involves executing a ping ortraceroute command. From inside a home network, the (DOS) command "ping -r 1" will send a message through the home router that will cause its IP address to be displayed. For example, "ping -r 1 www.yahoo.com" should result in a message like the following displayed on the command prompt:
Reply from 66.94.230.43: bytes=32 time=294ms TTL=56
Route: 209.179.21.76

What Is Computer Network

What Is Computer Network
Computer network systems usually connect two--or more than two--computer networks for communication, file sharing, and data sharing purposes. Computer devices such as printers, scanners, and hubs can also be shared across networks. Computer users can connect to a network system inside their homes, across the street, down the block, across country, and even around the world.

Local Area Network

A LAN, or local area network, is a connection of computer system within a building or offices close together. Local area networks can be as broad as connecting computers within a public school district, or as small as linking multiple computers inside a household. LANs are inexpensive compared to the other types of network systems and can use either wired or wireless connections. LANs operate within a relatively small area, but they can connect to larger network systems and greatly expand their reach.

Wide Area Network
A WAN, or wide area network, covers an entire geographical area, such as a state, region, or entire country. A wide area network can be self-contained, but always connects with other LAN and MAN network systems (see next section for explanation of MANs). WANs utilize expensive computer networking equipment and are operated by large telecommunications companies and large corporations that need to share a network in a specific area. For instance, a large pharmaceutical chain would use a WAN to gather prescription information from their customers. A customer would fill a prescription from one location and--through a WAN--their information can be transferred to any other store, worldwide.

Metropolitan Area Network
A MAN, or metropolitan area network, is a connection of two or more local area networks. Many local area networks within cities are often linked to a metropolitan area network through a high-speed Internet connection, such as one that runs over fiber-optic cable. Cable television providers or government entities operate metropolitan area networks. MANs can act as significant links between smaller local area networks and much larger wide area networks.

Storage Area Network
A SAN, or a storage area network, is a variation of a local area network. The purpose of a storage area network is to store large amounts of data, which can then be transferred at a high rate of speed. Businesses commonly use storage area networks. Multimedia companies often benefit from using a SAN, because they need to store large amounts of data for video editing.

BlackBerry Playbook, 60% touchscreen supply controls by Apple.

Following the Japanese quake, many analysts predicted supply issues for Apple's iPad 2 and upcoming iPhone 5. In fact, just today Best Buy announced that it would postpone sales of the second-generation iPad because of "supply constraints," while the iPhone 5 might be delayed until the second half of 2011 instead of the usual early summer refresh.

To minimize the impact of shortages, Cupertino has reportedly been making aggressive moves to secure components from overseas suppliers. According to analyst Brian White of Ticonderoga Securities, Apple executives contacted suppliers "immediately" after the Japanese earthquake and offered upfront cash payments to ensure adequate supply

Meanwhile, ThinkEquity analyst Rajesh Ghai writes that Apple has secured approximately 60% of the total available touch panel capacity. This jibes with a recent DigiTimes report that claimed Apple's control of the touchscreen market will cause Research In Motion's BlackBerry PlayBook tablet to be delayed by a month, giving the iPad 2 a healthy head start.

It remains to be seen whether delays will materialize, but Ghai notes that Apple's primary manufacturing source, Hon Hai, doesn't expect any shortages. Furthermore, he mentions that bumping the iPhone 5 to a fall launch could prove beneficial as it would give Apple more time to polish the handset, which would arrive during a stronger shopping season.
